The International Caterers Association (ICA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, mentoring and service for professional caterers and promoting the profession of catering to clients, industry members, vendors and the public.
catersource alliance
In 2004 the ICA formed an Alliance with catersource, to work together to educate caterers on a grand scale. We produce our yearly educational conference and trade show with catersource’s annual winter conference, providing our traditional outstanding seminars, the CATIE Awards Celebration, Owner’s Forum, and activities including the Resource Room and Club ICA.

President’s Letter
Dear ICA Web Visitor:
Welcome to the International Caterers Association ever-changing website. ICA is exhilarated about the numerous catering possibilities in 2008!
ICA is geared to the On and Off-premise caterer and vendors/suppliers to the catering industry who are passionate about the industry and where it grows to from here. ICA, as the premier catering professional association, is all about:
- Education for continuing growth
- The heightened off-premise catered experience
- The heightened on-premise catered experience
- Networking around the world with all styles of caterers
- Sharing of ideas, recipes and concepts
- Building of life-long relationships/friendships
These bullet points are supported by our involvement and alliance with catersource; both with the catersource Magazine and the incredible educational conference produced every winter. We further support these ideals with regularly teaching at the various NRA Shows around North America, CFRA Show in Toronto and our own CaterArts Conference geared totally to the culinary experience. This year, CaterArts is once again hosted by the incredible Sullivan University in Louisville, KY. The ICA Culinary Learning Journeys round out this support network with the most personalized and bonding of experiences whether in North America, Europe or one of the many other exquisite world locales like South Africa, by delving into the local cultures for food & wine experiences on a smaller scale.
You will love your experiences with ICA and spread the word because active involvement in ICA will improve your business bottom line!
Cheers-
Tim Lundy CSEP,
President
International Caterers Association
